DIABASS^® PRO not only allows data to be transmitted from market-leading systems such as Accu-Chek, Contour or FreeStyle Libre but also allows data to be imported from meters supplied by "smaller" names such as Beurer, Aktivmed or Wellion.

Data protection is never compromised

DIABASS^® PRO is also the optimal solution with regard to GDPR compliance and medical confidentiality obligation. This is because all data is stored locally. Therefore, there is no need for a dedicated clarification and consent from patients. It also goes without saying that your usage and prescription behaviour is not recorded and monitored.

DIABASS^® SecureSend – secure and convenient data reception

DIABASS^® allows easy data reception from measurement systems and diabetes apps without the disadvantages of a cloud solution. he data is encrypted on the patient's computer or smartphone according to the highest standards and then sent to the recipient by e-mail. There the data is automatically decrypted and transferred to the DIABASS^® software. The "end-to-end" encryption ensures that no third party has access to the data.

In contrast to internet-based solutions, DIABASS^® PRO stores all patient data exclusively on the doctor's system.

No patient or usage data is transferred to the Cloud or manufacturers.

In contrast to the so-called "Cloud", it is therefore not necessary to provide patients with clarifications on data transfer and to obtain legally compliant consents in advance. Neither does the use of DIABASS^® PRO require the appointment of a data protection officer.

DIABASS^® PRO not only relieves physicians from administrative expenses while minimising the risk of fines, but it also supports them in fulfilling their general data protection obligations. For instance, all you need to do is press a button to create a data summary for patients (according to Art. 15 GDPR) or to create a structured copy of their data when they request it.

It goes without saying that DIABASS^® PRO is network-enabled. At no additional cost, you receive an integrated TDT/DDT interface that enables connection to all common practice IT systems. Optionally available: HL7 connection for clinical information systems.

Confidentiality obligation and data protection

In contrast to internet-based solutions, DIABASS^® PRO stores all patient data exclusively on the doctor's system. There is no need for dedicated privacy statements, or to obtain consent from patients and appoint a data protection officer when using DIABASS^® PRO.
